Hi Bigphil, I noticed you renovated a Sansui 9500.
I just got a Sansui 999 in very nice shape cosmetically, but it makes
occasional "spluttering" sounds in the left channel.
Sometimes it sounds just dandy as-is. This noise likely a sign of
worn capacitors? Can you give me some advice about recapping this?
I would like to do it myself. What are some other components to look out for as worn?
