David, I purchased my rx 1050 a couple of years ago for under $50 Canadian at a thrift store (I am convinced they assumed it was BPC).

I recently saw a Rotel rb 1050 (power amp only) for about $300 Canadian. (Rotel is now on my radar for myself and friends )
