  • Do you still need a manual? I could try and get a scan of mine.
I could even photocopy and snail mail it to you I suppose.
    Assuming you're in the US.
I suspect that you have a problem in the regulated power supply. If you are interested in service, we accept ship-in units. Feel free to call me at 1-800-544-2100.
We use various sizes of natural bristle brushes. Some people use a compressor and an air jet. Canned air is quite expensive.

I like the brushes because they can get into nooks and crannies.

    Hey gang,

Of the great receivers from the 70's, which brand/model had the best "FM and AM" reception??....Thanks!!!!
make sure the dolby fm function is off. If it is the problem is either the preamp or the amp. Use a portable CD player through pre ins to test the amp. If that works the preamp is at fault. I have a service manual for this receiver if needed. As far as the knobs. Unobtanium. They were used only in the 1060 and 1080. They're both rare receivers, parts units are virtually non existant if they even have the knobs. Best bet is to try and find something that fits. I'm fortunate that my 3 1060s and one 1080 have complete sets.
