I have a pair, and I think they sound great! Nice balanced speaker, with a decent low end. I would wager $100 would be a fair price for a pair in good condition.

I'm not sure what a DVM is and I'll be honest, I've never desoldered anything in my life. My Dad has most likely got some decent experience desoldering, I could have him do that part. I don't think I could afford to pay someone at a local business to restore it.

I am confident that I could do the vellum replacement, led replacement, and I could 3D print a new dial lamp housing if the one in the unit is melted. I'm also sure I can clean all the controls. It's the board work that must be done that I'm not familiar with. Can I fix this myself?
