Hey Could you do me a favor if you still have the Yamaha ca-1000. Could you set to M/C gain in phono 1 and let me know if you can hear a bit of hiss. I have noticeable hiss around 5 o'clock on the volume control that increases as I keep turning it up. I'm thinking of a rebuild but the amp sings as is in class A mode. I just wish the phono section was a little quieter. Thank you!
