Interesting collection of hand painted R/R tape boxes from the 70's.

I think he gave some to his audio friends. I collect old 16mm film. I saw a film can on eBay that was painted with some design. Wish I could have got it...just for the can! But it sold for too much for my budget. Have any of you seen any other hand decorated tape boxes?

Any Reel guys interested in a tape swap?

I'd be interested in trading digital swaps of tape, 78's & LP. No risk of losing originals. Post Office is a mess nowadays. They deliver my stuff to the wrong PO Box locker or just outright lose things.

What tracks do you play in the form of an .mp3 File?

Most everything I have gets converted to MP3. But I'm behind in conversion in thousands of recordings.

    Today is world backup day

Someone sent me an email trying to sell me hard drives. They said March 31 was world backup day. I never heard of it, but it is true...

Were the old AFRS records from WW2 acetate or vinyl?

Thanks! Just to be clear. The records you mention are 331/3 but require a 78 stylus? Or are the records actual 78s? Is there a way to easily distinguish acetate from vinyl?

    CDs are leaving?

I use CDs all time in my CD recorder. Only complaint is they don't make M-Disc CD's.
