Good Evening All:

Tonight, I'll be turning back the hands of time.

Newest (but an old) find...

Up Tonight (First Up)!!! I can't believe they've recorded for Motown before. That's Pretty Odd.

The Isley Brothers -- This Old Heart Of Mine -- Tamla (1966)(Vinyl)

Side #1: "Nowhere To Run"; "Stop In The Name Of Love"; "This Old Heart Of Mine (Is Weak For You)"; "Take Some Time Out For Love"; "Guess I'll Always Love You"
Side #2: " Who Could Ever Doubt My Love"; "Put Yourself In My Place"; "I Hear A Symphony"; "Just Ain't Enough Love"; "There's No Love Left"; "Seek And You Shall Find"

I'm SO addicted to that famous Motown Bassline.

Volume Turned UP UP UP UP

Nothing else to say, Charles!
Classic Soul, nice find on the Isley's!

Rome

Thanks Teach....

That's The VERY First Album That Was From The 1960's Motown Era, That My Parents Doesn't Have Anything To Do With. I Got This One At A Local Used Record Store, And Was Lucky To Find It In Decent Condition Given It's 51 Years Old.

The Title Song On The Isley's Brothers Album, "This Old Heart Of Mine (Is Weak For You)", Was Also The #2 Track On The Supremes' "A Go-Go" Album, Which Came Out The Same Year. So I Wonder How The Isley Brothers Made It Their Feature Cut On Their Album?

Hmmmm??

UP TONIGHT!!!

Not spinning per se tonight, but will listen to SOME music tonight. The Turntable will have the night off tonight. The CD Player is puttin' in work tonight. And being that I am making plans to see Tupac's movie this weekend, I'm going to get into that spirit and spin some of his music tonight.

First Up Tonight...

Tupac -- "Intro/Bomb First (My Second Reply)" -- Death Row/Interscope (1996)(CD -- From The CD -- "Makaveli-The Don Killuminati (The 7 Day Theory)" -- Track #1 -- "Intro/Bomb First (My Second Reply))" (Parental Advisory/Explicit Language)
