I have a couple vintage Harman Kardon receivers. One is a 230 B and the other is a Three Thirty and neither one gets decent reception even with a decent antenna. I am wondering if those fins oxidize or are these vintage HK's known to have substandard tuners?
BTW I have a Nikko that has a tuner so sensitive I can pick up stations with a paper clip as an antenna. Tuners are not created equally that's for sure.
