Holy cow the silicone went behind the cones half an inch
hopefully I can stiffen up some of these thinned out paper edges with a few light coats of wood glue or something

If you want to stiffen the paper use clear nail polish.

Why.........cuz the little lady said "you're not spending any more money on that old stereo stuff". He happened to have several tubes of silicone pilfered from somewhere and he showed the little lady he couldn't be stopped
