The 7001 and 7500 are separate and distinct models. In the August 31 report, QRX-70001 serial numbers begin on page 138 and continue to the end of the next page where the serial numbers for the 7500 start. The 771 starts on page 26. Any serial numbers posted between August 31 and now will be in the September report. I'm working on it now and it will be live in a few days.
I think I got lucky here, just was given this unit. My friend said it was working fine last time he had it connected.
Has been sitting collecting dust, all controls work smoothly can't hear or feel anything other than very smooth action.
Not sure where to set it up, my main turntable system has a McIntosh MC 2505 amp with DB Systems Precision Preamp for CD and 3 MM turntables (Kenwood KD500 and KD550, and AR-XB), then a DB 8HG for Linn LP12 with Dynavector DV20x MC cartridge with Ohm Walsh Series F speakers.
Second room syste had a Denon 3300 but it seems to have given up the ghost so amd considering using a B&K Reference 20 with a Nakamichi PA-5, speakers in there are DynAudio 72.
TV is using an Aragon Soundstage going to an Aragon 4004 and using Martin Logan Sequel II speakers
Not sure what to do with the Sansui, put a turntable and extra CD player on it and use a set of Ohm H speakers on it for another room and maybe gift it to a relative?
Still need to test it to make sure it is OK, maybe have it serviced and eventually replace caps.
