Hi

If u put a pair of speakers to main and a pair of speakers to remote1 and u turn the knob to main&remote shouldent the speakers play all together? Cos i only hear remote1 playing ^^

grtz

Nope..but dunno if it makes any differance ...i connected just only 1 speaker to test it out.To see if main + remote plays together.

A guess would be a dirty speaker selector or a spkr connection issue (solder/wire...)
Select main + remote, connect the 2 sets of spkrs to main + remote.
Note which spkr plays.
Select main (only), does main play?
Select remote (only), does remote play?

main plays - remote plays ^^ but they play not together?
Dirty speaker selector switch or bad connection/solder/wires at switch is most likely cause. Need thorough clean with deoxit.

With amp powered off/unplugged you could try measuring the resistance between the headphone socket/wires are the speaker post, should be near short.
ie, select MAIN, measure between headphone wire, right channel and MAIN right speaker post. Repeat for MAIN+REMOTE 1

Yes, it makes a difference on that one.

The P300 is a very fine amplifier.

It has a test circuit that checks the speaker load before engaging the amps.

You need to connect 2 speakers to a single setting to test it.

You need 4 speakers connected properly to run both main and remote.
