Power Cord Repair

These were available as kits, shouldn't be too hard to remove the cord and slide a chunk of heat shrink onto the cord but put down some liquid wire insulation, 3M mentioned but most electrical chemicals companies make something. The cover with the heat shrink. In the time it took to do all that you could have just installed a new cord. But the cord would need to fit the old strain relief bushing.

Fortunately, the cord just has a couple of fairly minor nicks in it so I could probably get away with electrical tape until I have the cord replaced but I'm gonna try the silicone tape first.
