The Twin Cities - Like Seattle?

Live in The Seattle Area and lived in the San Francisco Bay Area...

Seattle music to many early bands was an expression of discontent with a few benefiting from a social economic system that once benefited the majority exemplifying the ills of today’s society, now it’s just something popular. Just like how hippy protest music of the sixties transcended into the popular music of the seventies. Music is an expression that becomes a popular way to make to arrange a song. Like reggae in the seventies that preached a message of dealing with oppression (Bob Marley) to just become a method to sell music in the eighties and nineties. But you can have one person that listens to the message while enjoying the tune and another that cares less. Just like they had people with long hair in the sixties that thought everything was just a fad. Bob Dylan’s environment and experiences caused him to create music that people would notice then you had Simon and Garfunkel making folk music popular. Such is life...

It's funny - when I told people I lived in Duluth they acted like it was the North Pole. Hello - there's a whole frickin' country right above it - how do you think THEY feel???
