I'll tell you...I spent a bunch(to me) on a Rega RP6 a while back and if the time is right I would spend $2500 for this one. Seems like a sweet spot price point. I'm sure they know what they are doing

Unfortunately, McIntosh seems to have scrapped the illuminated acrylic platter in favor of a black platter and they have raised the introductory price to $4k.

if I was looking for a Mac TT it would have to have the cool illuminated platter........a absolute must.
