2017 Sansui Serial Number Database

Hi, I am in the process of acquiring an AU-2200. I noticed that the database lists these as 1985, I think 1975 would be correct, particularly according to the 1975/76 Sansui Catalog available on HIFI Engine.
Will update my newcomers serial number in due course.
:)
Thanks for pointing this out. This is an example of a decade reference error. I've changed the reference in the master table. The next report will have the correct dates.

Jim, I have you 7070.

Last one I am not certain of the last four digits. The label is slightly damaged.

Wow, we haven't had one of those in awhile. This is the first one posted since 2008. Arguably the finest AM/FM receiver ever made.

Just got it back last month. Punker X worked his magic on a full restoration and it's the best sounding tuner I have owned. I have it paired with the matching restored AUX1 and it's fantastic!

Yeah, that is a bit of a problem. Hopefully you can figure it out from this picture.

It looks like it's the last digit that's missing. I'll assign a digit to it. That will be close enough. I'll tag a note to it identifying the 9 digit as a guess. Thanks for posting the pic.
