Yorkville YSM-1 Studio Monitors $12 GW

Don't confuse Yorkville with Yorx. Yorkville was a Canadian pro sound manufacturer. A lot of their PA speakers punch well above their weight class. I never saw a studio monitor from them, but you can bet it wasn't just ad gimmick, that was the market they were designed for.

Edit: I said was. I should have said is. Check out their latest offering on Musician's Friend.

Very nice. I'm worried about your car seats though! You need a moving blanket to protect them from those sharp corners... Like others have mentioned those prices are great.

I try not to buy any unneeded extras but at those prices I wouldn't have been able to say no. Great buys!

I picked up a Doors LA Woman 1st issue at local record store for $6 yesterday. You probably got a little better deal.
I paid half of that, but you did really well. I'm actually surprised a shop would let one with good cellophane go so cheap. That's a $35 - 50 record. Of course you didn't mention condition.

With a fixed income, retail prices for the quality audio I like is out of the question. Including the high used prices for quality vintage audio. Which leaves me with CL and thrift stores. These 3 components I'm showing were obtained within the last 3 or 4 months. I got them at the same thrift store in my area called STVDP
(St. Vincent DePaul). All for under $50.
1. Sanyo 2050 Receiver-Amazing surprise. Sound quality is excellent. Phono stage is excellent . All the lights and meters work. It's built like a Cat D9 bulldozer.
50 watts per channel and weighs in the neighborhood I'd say of 40lbs.
2. Magnavox CDB 500 CD player-Great sounding older player with a decent DAC and transport.
3. Technics RS-928R Tape Deck-Decent sounding deck with all the bells and whistles.
