Whoever had this house before us has cove molding in the corner between the wall and ceiling. When we took it down we discovered they had installed it on top of the popcorn ceiling. Then they removed the popcorn and put a skim coat of mud on both walls and ceiling. I removed the popcorn from where the trim was but the skim coat is proud of the area where the trim was removed. I would like to meet the contractor responsible. But I would end up in jail.

some people figure that if you can hammer a nail you can be a contractor

He was quite brilliant. Never tired of watching his art come to life. I remember Sylvester McCoy from there too. Bet he had no idea then that Dr Who would be in his future.
