ML 10s, hoping I like them, if not down the road they go. Water wars, what a shit show that was. I was with Klamath falls police department then, because I was good friends with most of the farmers, I got stuck 12 hours per day at the head gates, that summer.
Frankly I ended up embarrassed about some of the shenanigans, portrayed by mass media.
Our homeless crowd, street creatures, were down their and being interviewed almost daily. These retards could hardly articulate a complete sentence, much less represent our community.
My mother down in Sacramento called me one day, asking if our farmers were really that far gone, lacking education tack and grace. I hung my head and remember thinking " good lord" my wonderful community is being portrayed as Mongols, retards and Jerries Kids.
Was .also heavily involved in the bucket brigade down Main Street, and into the canal, their at Klamath Union High School.
By now I'm sure your aware that the tribe Has "time in memorial " water rights, and now the courts have given them physical rights. It's getting interesting. OWRC, has ordered all domesticated wells within a mile of the lake shut down. The city and several ranchers have refused to,comply, saying take us to court. To date OWRC, hasn't, my research indicates that OWRCs out on a limb, between a rock and a hard spot. Court is not in their best interest "yet"
I don't have a dog in the fight. But I like to stay at least semi informed.
Waters low again this year, the amusing part is, last week I noted the A canal rising. About three quarters full. Turns out a mistake was made at the head gates, and that water wasn't supposed to be turned lose. Seems their was debris stuck physically in the head gates.
Yea, sure. End of the day, it's all good. I get it. The Feds were cool chalked it up to head gate damage.
M1A, I've got a few, mine are M14E' models with the auto buttons removed. Also own several BM59s and BM-62s. And a couple SOCOMS. I've been a collector, and a shooter since the early 70s, I'd buy guns, while everybody else went on vacation. Life's about choices.
Have a great day.
