Sealed back speakers

I understand why many mid-ranges and tweeters have sealed backs to prevent the back wave of the woofer from affecting the drivers.

I noticed on PE there are a few sealed back woofers and wonder if that has any affect on enclosure size requirements as there is essentially no back wave ?

Thoughts/opinions/ideas ?

Are there any voice coil vents? If not, what do the specs for the driver indicate?

Assuming that the speaker is truly sealed, no venting in the back, then the enclosure has no effect on the sound output.

That's what I was trying to wrap my head around, how a woofer could move sufficient air to create bass with a sealed back.

Since it's actually a midrange driver, it's a moot point.
