Flawless on my system.....but then musicality and SQ can often be different beasts.....the most musical versions of all my Zep collection are bootlegs where some chaos reigned beyond the parameters of studio world......

I've never owned any myself but, my first high school girl friend had a system in their family room that had an 8 track player. Her older brother and sister left their 8 track tapes when they moved out. That was my were first experience listening to "Who's Next". It made me an instant fan. Good memories.

Good call Lee! For sure though I have had those ADS on the repair list for a very long time and they will continue until I can source a new mid and tweeter. I may recap the KLH believe it or not. Something I generally don’t do but I feel these could use it.

Any of ya'll know what an 8 track cartridge is?

Yeppers! Had about 800 at a time. Dislike them because the machine would eat the tape mostly because the sensing foil broke. A real pain to re spool too. Have a Panasonic dynamite box player still with a Bob Dylan 8 track. But they are cool on the other hand and some of the players are very cool!
