GW Impact. Don't know whether you have one in your area yet. I think it's a pilot project. Anything that doesn't sell in a reasonable time in the regular GW stores ends up there, and is sold by weight. Presumably, if it doesn't sell there, the next stop is the landfill.

Could be you'll get one eventually. The staff tell me that if the one in Edmonton is successful, they are going to open one in Calgary. With luck, they'll be spreading across Canada in short order. I don't even bother with the rest of the GW stores around Edmonton now because I get so much from the Impact Store.

Oh for sure. I've been mountain biking in Alberta for 25 years and have been caught out in scary snow scenarios in July and August a few times. One time i nearly got frostbite in August on Jumping Pound Ridge in Kananskis. It was 20C when we started riding in the morning in the valley.
