Vintage Mopar Owners: Let' see your rides!!

I spent the last few days putting this 540 inch Chrysler engine together. Still needs a few things to finish. It uses ported Indy heads, a cross- bolt main block and has a 4.5 bore with a 4.25 stroke. It made 890 HP on gasoline. It goes in a '69 Road Runner. Car has run 5.78 in the 1/8.

Oh Rick, what I would love to do w/ that engine in a '69 RR on the "D" roads of France. Geeze Louise I'd have a gawkers' parade assembled in no time flat, sorta like how the RR runs.

Say friend, what's that two-wheeled job I see (dwarfed by the Big Chrysler Block) in the blackground, the one w/ the blue fender and black lic.plate?

70 FLH. I have had it since '84.

EURO 50,000 bike in The EU, Rick. Wow. Despite being partial to the late 40s-early 50s classics w/ the "bicycle seat" thing, I love the look of this bike. The color (yes, sometimes finish matters too, folks) is superb. I love it. Man, would this bike ever be a gas to tool across the "D" roadways of France and Germany.

Some of my past and present Mopars...
52,000 mile 69 SuperBee 383/4-speed (now in Germany!!)
71 Challenger convertible 340/727 (still own it.. but in paint and body jail/hell) the GTO is my dads car which he still has
75 Duster (360/727)
72 Satellite Sebring Plus 318/904 which I sold to buy...
2011 Challenger R/T

So I have 40 year Challenger bookends
Also had a 66 Barracuda (the ex-wifes car, which means they're both GONE)

I’ll tell you what. Those are elephant tracks so IT BETTER BE THE 426.

And they should put it in a ‘cuda.

I owned a 1969 Super Bee like this one in the late 70's. Mine was same color but I didn't have the ram air scoops. Just a big diamond in the hood.

I had the 383 four barrel emblem on the side and the 2 foot long Hurst shifter.

I drove it in Michigan winters.

Lot of fun in the summer time.

I remember the pressure plate was quite heavy duty.

No power steering or brakes. car was quite a workout.

You guys would faint in this place, located just outside of Katy, TX. The cars are absolutely awesome and so is the rest of it. My fave was the white Coronet R/T convertible. If you ever get the chance, go see this. The owner is usually there and out on the floor chatting with the people. Very personable guy.

It's open to the public 3 days a week for a ten buck donation, but you have to call first.

I was at Sema when they announced the new crate engine from mopar. Supercharged 426 hemi 1000hp / 950ftlbs. They started it on the stage and was pretty tame all considering but they didn’t rev very high. The mopar booth was packed. I think every magazine and blogger was there. I took a few pics from the booth on my phone which is easy to post. They did put one of the engines in a 68 charger which wasn’t my cup of tea but it’s Sema. Here’s a few pics from the booth. Some pics are from outside. The dodge van with the dragon mural is airbrushed not a wrap. The whole van.
