A linear power supply is the recommended one, typically for an amplifier. They are regulated or unregulated and utilize half wave or full wave bridge rectified Transformers with filtering caps on the output, as opposed to a switch mode power supply which uses chopping frequencies to generate the output voltage more commonly found on wall Transformers and inside computers and notebook brick power supplies. I'm guessing the manual is recommending a linear power supply?
No manual at all Blitzy but an expert on another thread recommended a linear power supply,so it set me wondering.Thanks for the elucidation:):cool:
The amp has me chained as soon as i start it up and im just considering how much more honey might be squeezed ffrom this sweet thing
