Holey advents, Batman!

yeah the radius is backwards for Advents. As far as being too expensive they were give-aways ten or so years ago, climbed up to nearly $500 for the Walnut cabs, now are back down to a couple hundred on a good day. I've had 5 pairs and the most expensive were $15. I kept some NLA's that were free needing surrounds and they are doing garage duty. Quite nice sounding speakers.

You mean the rolls are installed inverted? I always have a hard time seeing that in pictures. I was referring to the foams being glued to the top of the speaker cones.

Yes. But I think those are actually Advent/1 speakers. Not deep enough / wide enough to be NLA. In the utility cabinet there should be more of a gap between the speaker flange and the side of the enclosure if they were NLA and more distance between the bottom of the woofer and the bottom of the speaker. The Advent/1 used the same drivers but in a smaller enclosure and their foams were also 'normal' ... not 'inverted' and glued to the back of the cone.
