Any danger in bi-amping Fisher tube amps?

I'm surprised that, with the 4 and 8 ohm lugs used as Larry suggested above that, both the SPEAKER1 and SPEAKER2 Speaker Selector positions play the speakers. I have a subwoofer connected to SPEAKER2 and it still plays with the Speaker Selector in the SPEAKER2 position.

If neither SPKR 1 or SPKR 2 individually operate the spkrs, you have them connected incorrectly. Connect the spkrs to the + and com connections as normal. The COM is connected to the 4 ohm side of the transformer secondary as outlined in the above. the + side is run thru the 4-8-16 ohm impedance lead and then thru the switch. Connect the IMPEDANCE Lead to the 8ohm tap. Your subwoofer should be connected to the CENTER CHANNEL lug with the following proviso's (if 1.) unpowered it will need an amp. 2.) powered connect directly.

If you are running thru a switching box Make sure Each switch is a Dual throw with a Center OFF Detent. This will isolate the Fisher and the Marantz as TCDRIVER Drew out.

Sorry for the confusion Thorne.
