Most listened to album in your lifetime?

Billy Joel, Storm Front.
The Foo Fighters, The Colour and the Shape.
Nine Inch Nails, The Fragile.
Bush, Sixteen Stone.
Queens of the Stone Age, Songs for the Deaf.

Not sure which of these, but almost certainly one of them, and I still bring them all out from time to time.

Rocka Rolla and Sad Wings of Destiny are right up there too.

I literally found an imported blue colored cassette of Rocka Rolla in the woods, while grouse hunting in northern WI.
I was in 10th grade at the time.
Changed my life!
It prompted me to seek out the early work of Judas Priest I hadn't heard.
Fantastic guitar tones and composition on those albums.
I still enjoy listening to them now, at age 52.

I keep seeing this thread pop up, thinking about it, still have no real idea, and I have listened to a lot of albums to the point of burn out... I guess it could be Joe's Garage, still not burned out on that one after all these years. I do prefer Acts II and III now to when I was younger preferred Act I. I still test speakers with select cuts from that album, it has it all.

If I had to guess I’d say Abbey Road. But it could also be Who’s Next, Truth, Beck-ola, Rough ‘n Ready, Ya Ya’s, Live At Leeds...

Wow this is a tough one. I chose to reply to this question in celebration of my 500th post, been here almost 11 years (just a few days shy)

So, 4 albums that I can sing every song, every word, that will all be contenders for the top spot so in no particular order...

Fleetwood Mac - Rumours
Ian Hunter - Short Back and Sides
Pink Floyd - Dark Side of the Moon
Highly Suspect - Mr. Asylum

The last one is a find this year, Spotify tells me I’ve listened to highly Suspect for 29 hours this year, that’s just streaming and I’ve only been on Spotify since August, I have 2 of their albums that I have listened to many times at home.

Think I'll give it a spin.

Mine likes Moondance and Poetic Champions Compose. I like It’s Too Late to Stop Now and Astral Weeks.

Forgot about Toys in the Attic and also Grand Illusion. Wore out several of those in my lifetime.
