PA :: New member, old console

Thanks for the welcome all!

Small update, i have the owner manual (found on ebay) and the stylus I ordered showed up!
I think the TT will play a record, although the auto function isn't working properly. So I may install the stylus, and listen to a record or two. Then take the entire TT apart for a cleaning and lube.

I have a couple more pics to show off :)

I have this same console. I'm wondering if anyone has a schematic for it. Really hard to get info on this one....and I would agree, it sounds amazing for a console....very powerful sound with the enclosed motion-feedback speaker cabs.

Hello AK members,
I too recently purchased this same model SE 9000HG. In very good condition except the same turntable issues. Tape deck works great but the receiver has a lot of white noise in the left channel. Regardless of volume setting. I have used Deoxit on all pots and selector switch but no change. Any ideas?

Hello, I am new to Audio Karma. I inherited my father's Panasonic 9000 hg Deluxe and am working to get it back in order. He bought it in Japan while in the Navy during the Vietnam conflict. He was aboard a destroyer and the story I always heard was that he slept on the floor for six months while it occupied his bunk so he could bring it back. My brother and I grew up listening to all our records on this thing. I always loved it. I am hoping to use it for a multi-room system eventually. Scan.jpeg Scan 2.jpeg Anyway, enough rambling. Digging through, I found the schematics for those of you still looking. I realize this thread is old. I wasn't able to find it online either, so I felt duty-bound to share the info. He was in the navy from '68-'72 to give a ballpark age. Hope someone finds this helpful.

I know an old thread....but picked this up a few weeks ago. Radio works...reel to reel no go at the moment. Turntable works. Actually listening to Steve Wonder now on radio. Any body got one they are parting out?
