2017 Sansui Serial Number Database

Thanks guys, got 'um.

Pete,
Did they really make the AU-710 until 1983?
Nope. That particular AU-710 was entered into the Database in the early days when most of the entries were captured from eBay. There are a lot of errors in the early stuff. In this case the third digit was reported as a 3. It's much more likely an 8 so I changed it to get it in the right decade.

Thanks Pete. I thought that was the case, but wanted to make sure that the 710's weren't continued longer than the 717's. It looks like the full history of the AU-710's is still a bit of a mystery.

Recently acquired, the not too common, Q-55.
Could there be a whole lot of these still connected to ceiling speakers in bars and restaurants all over Asia?
Currently in use for center channel with an AU-111.
I have the Q-55 brochure and schematic if anyone needs it.

Great stuff there. Thanks for the serial numbers. Any documentation you may have can be posted in the Digital Docs forum.
