New turntable feet!

They look pretty good and the price isn't totally ridiculous.
Well that is sad.... because $99 to replace the PL518 feet is more than I paid for the TT. I recently picked up a LAB 420 as well with rotted feet. What I have used and likely will continue to use is simple vibration pads from HVAC world at $2 each. https://www.amazon.com/Pack-Anti-Vi...VK8DY7AFSCW&psc=1&refRID=Y44ZC7H66VK8DY7AFSCW I have even considered getting a friend to round them out for me. I am thinking of trying these as well. https://www.amazon.com/Anti-Vibrati...srs=18411661011&ie=UTF8&qid=1545407681&sr=8-1 and add a bit of metal trim for appearance sake.

I wonder how different the 518 feet are from the 560? $50 difference. The 518 ones look to be larger but is it totally needed?

The 518 are notorious for decay and may just have more demand? BTW I was not trying to thread crap, I am just too cheap to pay $100 for feet. That place makes a nice product (actually a ton of stuff inc non audio) and is a small biz built in USA, well worth the support.

I have tried to find any scientific reason to not use vulcanized or perbunan rubber for a fraction of the cost. I also have a TT shelf bolted to studs and a poured concrete slab floor. Not a ton of vibration. Also my hearing..... maybe aging has benefits?
