Happy Canada Day! My dream has been to visit Vancouver. I just have to get a new passport, as my old one expired. Perhaps a drive there from California, with stops in Portland and Seattle, is possible. I've heard that the scenery on that route is beautiful.

Last night on Jeopardy, Alex Trebek suggested that the US and Canada celebrate a combined 4 day holiday Saturday through Tuesday. Sounds good to me. Happy birthday Canada!
