Amazon to compete with UPS and FedEx

I predict one day, Amazon will BE a major player in the package shipping business.

The whole Christmas delivery failure two years ago was the straw that broke the back.
Last year's delivery was much much better, with extra trucks and crews and days, but the scar was made.
I also noticed that during the holiday season, none of my packages had any shipping issues.
About mid-summer, you should have seen the damages! The NE US is the WORST!

FedEx and UPS and USPS are on notice, and Amazon is playing big.
Trucks and drivers are old hat but doable. Drones? Really? That's just silly.

Who starts by leasing 40 Boeing 767-300s?

I think it was the 2013 holiday season that broke the camels back. I got a $50 credit from Amazon due to shipping delays.

I've been reading a lot of articles about Amazon shipping. The only thing they have yet to conquer is the last mile.

I'm at my local Post Office dropping off packages a lot. I see the volume of Amazon boxes coming in every day and being loaded by the carriers into their trucks.
