    Well if you're sure you want a copy of the tape, knowing that it was originally recorded at 3.75 and that I will record it from the Akai to the Pioneer at 7.5, then I'm willing to send you a copy of it. You can send a 10" reel to:

    The 1020L is 1/4tr capable of 3.75 and 7.5 ips speeds and either 7" or 10.5" reels. Since this 7" reel is done at 3.75 ips, would it really be worth it to put it on a 10.5" reel? I'm in SW Virginia. Roanoke.

    Sure, I've got a couple of decks here...a Pioneer RT-1020L right next to the Akai. It is recorded a 3-3/4 and is all on one 7" reel.
    Not mine, though :) I'm currently in the market for a /5...the /2s are so cool-looking, but a ton of work for a regular summer ride...
