Charles... perhaps a little late.. but a paragraph you wrote in 2013 about your System Seven inspired me to recently buy (2) parts units STA-7's. I will have a go at repairing them... while continuing to look for a cosmetically and operationally superior example.

Hi, I saw that you have had some experience with the Realistic SA-150. I picked one up on eBay as a trial run on integrated amps before I go spending a ton of money.

You said you had yours connected to some Minimus, which are speaker wire input. How did you go about connecting the "speaker out" (RCA) to speaker wire? Is it as easy as splicing an RCA cable?
