5.6 volt / 500mw zener
Remote control me thinks.
Seen that before..
My current job................................suxs
LOL Mmmm Mmmm good.
Both of my CambridgeAudio Azur's have variable output as well with the remote.
Replacing the 16 2SC458LG transistors will cure the noise issue.
Exact replacement is KSC1815. However KSC1845 or 2SC2240 will work as well.
Turning the bias trimmer on the left channel CCW a little will cool it down.It almost sounds like a cracked trace or cold soldered connection...
Don't use anything greater than 1/4 watt. Thats like replacing a 1/4 amp fuse with a 2A fuse..Not a good idea.
Many moons ago.,While in high school and community college. I worked for this guy. Homer L. Davidson....
except KSC2073. See if Digikey has everything you need.
What other resistors ? The other fusibles? They are all 1/4 watters.. Digikey has them all..
Yeah so have I. But for a rookie needs a good clearly legable schematic. I / we know what to look for..
Fusible resistor 680Ω 25ma looks like. Manual is a shitty free down load. R619..
[IMG]See the transistor pressed against the big heatsink with the brass/copper spring. It is not original. The original was a 2SC458 "TO-92...
Haven't looked at the schematic yet.
Did the new fuses blow again ?
Can you follow a schematic ?
If your burning up the rail fuses. On both channels... Houston we have a problem..
