A coworker was able to get it fixed by taking the pot out, disassembled the part and soaked it overnight in alcohol to get all the contacts clean. It was a chore to take apart but it’s been working great. Good luck.

Cool, thanks for the advice and quick help. All I have are AT carts for my linears so it will be good to try another brand. Mine has lots of buildup gunk inside which will need to be cleaned up. I'll update when I get something new.

The AT3482P sounds the best right to me using a J-33 Technics player but I think it’s because it’s basically pretty new and broken in. The older ones will probably need replacement styli and now I have some options to consider.

The original owner of the TR451U that came with the table told me he had saved up to buy it in the early 90's so maybe they were out at the same time? Either way I will probably keep and get a replacement syli for it, thanks for the additional info.

Main reason why I ended selling mine, too complicated and didn’t want to go too far down the rabbit hole of disassembly. It would be interesting if someone figures out the easiest way to access those tough to reach belts.

Good info on the TR451U. It didn't sound that great last night w/ the 1st run but I don't have the correct ground wire for that TT so hopefully that's the reason. The stylus looks to be in decent condition. Will post w/ pics once I get it squared away :thumbsup:
