I had an opportunity over the weekend to hear a pair of vintage JBL 4350's. It sounded very typical of vintage speakers: Lack of bass, One notey, Rolled off highs at roughly 7k, and very shouty midrange. I'm just very glad speaker technology has came a long way or I'd never enjoy music.
