    The four big ones R1203/1204 and R1220/1221 are 10K 3 watt. I don't know that type is important. I go with good wire wound for them. I also mount them a little higher off the board. Tony

    The yellow and red wire nearest the face are for the relay. The wires furthest from the face are the power. Do you have a volt meter to test with? I have one of these open I will look to see where the snubber cap is. Tony Tony

    The 24 has a mute relay that shorts the outputs to ground when it is switched off. It is delayed when turning on. As you can see the relay is controlled by a second switch. So the mute can work even if the power switch has a problem. If the unit is not powering off either the power switch is...

    Adding the second ground greatly reduced the noise. Cutting the trace made it go away. This one was trash when I got it. Its all working now. I need to make a cover as it came with out. Tony

    I know this has been inactive for a while, but I just fixed one with that had a ground loop issue. First I cut the trace as seen in the bottom center of the picture. Then I added the jumper from J610 to the solder on the ground screw. It is now dead quiet. Tony
