    Dual C-844 have a sort of additional bias for Ferrics and Chromes like for normal ferrics and super ferrics and pure chromes and cobalt chromes as FeI and FeII and CrI and CrII.

    There are also boomboxes with manual record levels to consider too from the early 80's but these were only on decent boomboxes, some with only 1 knob for both channels and the better ones with 2 knobs for separate left and right channels. Sharp GF-767 and GF-777 were good examples of the former...
