Go with the MCD 201,I love mine, Also after auditioning many cables I liked the Cardas Neutral Ref, Bal. MC352,MCD201, proac 1SC's PS. I had the C2200 when I chose the cable's. A friend of mine who is a top sound engineer (Joe Ferla)helped me decide on the cables.

Sndsrtaud, You should try the MCD 201 with your 252. I think you'll be suprised. I liked it so much with my 352 that I sold my C2200. Why put up with the added expense and distortion of a pre amp,and extra interconnects? I run the the tuner I have through a used pre-amp that I paid $200...

I had a C2200 with a 2102,then a 352, and it was nice but the 352 and the 201 blew right past all the other combinations. I'm talking about sound stage,sound quality,etc.

And,If you need a pre-amp for a tuner or what ever buy a cheepie just to run with the tuner!

Save the C2200 money,buy a mcd201 and run it into a mc352 and sell the MA6900. You'll be WAY ahead. And will save money to boot!!

Ron, All three that I had problems with are fairly new,first quality CD's. I called Chuck and he suggested that the laser may need allignment. ???

I think the problem is some discs slip. If I rough up the hole a little with my fingernail it seems to solve the problem??

My new 201 is teriffic,however somtimes it has trouble recognizing the disc. Should I return it for another?

Hi everyone, I have a 352 and a c2200.I just bought a mcd201 to run direct into my 352. I a/b'd it with and without the c2200. I like the c2200 but honestly the 201 sounds great going direct into the amp. I'm selling the c2200! (can't afford everything)

The meters on my C2200 are much lighter blue than my 352.Is this common? or is mine somehow defective?

My Mc352 is about 3wks old.I purchased it from Audioclassics.(great place BTW!) What's the chances it may have LEDS? How could I find out? How difficult is it to replace those screw in bulbs for my C2200? Are the bulbs and installation covered under my Mac warreny?
