    With the sp 5500's I would hope that wasn't the case. The sound seemed to come from the unit as I was standing near it whereas the speakers are placed a fair distance from the 9090db.

    "loud", It still works haven't had the problem again, so far. I guess I'll monitor it and maybe try some different volume levels.
