    Thanks for your detail explanation. However, I found that MC2505 needs to be reduced a bit gain control so that it can be balanced (verified by my ears) with the output of MC2205. What's wrong in my setting?

    Dear Stereofun, Thanks Both Phono(1 and 2) work well. I replaced those four XA495 by ZTX795 and replace those two 2SC458 by KSC1845. The E B C were connected according to the pin assignment of the replacement transistors. I will post the picture later for your help to vertify.
