Run and grab them!! even without tweeters thats a steal and you'll like fortes. very balanced speaker. I went from Fortes to Cornwalls, still miss them, although I love my cornwalls.

Here's an old 1019 I had with the same base. The breadbox plastic DC fits perfectly. I saw one on ebay, but he is asking WAYYYY too much. I got mine for about 40 dollars.

I wish I had that skill set. I had a pro woodworker friend do it up for me. It's heavy as hell and the 1019 is mounted on it, not suspended. The breadbox cover fits it exactly and looks phenomenal in person. It's not going anywhere soon ;)
