She did not need nothing special... Just inside cleaning. It was more see the "inside" To comprove that there was no problem with this buy... powerfull...and rare:banana:

Well end up buying the Conrad Johnson premiere 14 and Conrad Johnson EV1 To partner my CJ Premiere 12. Also made a upgrade of my denon dl 301 mkii and Bought a new Ortofon mc Jubilee...:banana:

i was thinking in the premier fourteen. it´s from the same time as the two premiere twelve monoblocks... did not find any premiere 16 yet... i read that the 16 is better than the 14.

the pioneer went to repair and now its 100% working well. It was the protection circuit that shut off at 10 watt. it needed more new caps and transistors. thanks anyway.

did not try with cd. just vinyl and radio.

the protection circuit of my pioneer sx 1050 receiver shuts off when i raise the volume to more than half. if i down the volume it will play again nice. the sound is very good without any noise. tried two pair of diferent speakers individually and with diferent cables but the problem...

Thats right. And at the end Its so rewarding having these machines working well after so many years. Just have restored a revox b710 cassette and it Plays like nothing i have ever listen before. The revox equipaments are so well built and solid. Forget nakamichi there is no comparation...

And if the vintage receiver Plays very well but When you push the volume high it shuts off ? Is a recap a solution ?

They are in The office room in a cabinet. About 500 discs.

The revox a77 is a very old equipment ( 40 years old) and can have lot of problems. Motors not working, heads worn out, pinch roller bad state and a lot of more problems. 50 usd is cheap but you could end spending a lot much more to put it working well. if i were you, i would ask a specialist...

I have a shure v15 typeiii with a jico SAS and a ortofon mc rondo blue. The mc cartdridge Plays much better than the shure. Better detail and More spacious.
