    DIY Stereo Cabinet - Stand

Yeah...lol....Love to see other peoples ideas come to life..I`ve always loved diy and saving some money in the process, plus the pride of looking at the end results and knowing that its` done the way I wanted. There are a lot of nice racks out there but I never could afford most of them.

Can`t remember the speaker or the reviewer but I remember he put a small bag of lead shot on top of each speaker and claimed to hear a difference. Better ears than I, me thinks..:music:

    VPI Turntable Owners Thread

Good time to get your feet wet and get familiar with your table. As much as most like plug & play, I wouldn't put VPI in that category. Take your time, read and learn, things will fall in place and you'll have a great big s<<< eating grin on your face when you get it right. Congrats and there...

Keep Cambridge audio or change everything

another vote for speaker placement then speakers if that doesn't do it. I`ve got a couple of cambridge pieces and like the wolfson dacs in them. I don`t think changing amps would make as big of a difference unless you are way underpowered and listen at high volume a lot..just my 2 cents worth...

Insisting on keeping controls flat is extremely short sighted.
