    Thanks. After doing some more research, it looks like the first cap is a Vishay Roederstein ERO MKT1818 series cap. But the value is printed on the top of the cap. Anyone know what the blue paste is - I would like to try to remove it to see the value. This looks like the second cap. Anyone...

    Biamp.. 2 amps are better than one. No electronic X-over required.

    A few comments: 1. IMHO, you cannot generalize and state bi-amping with active crossovers works great or state bi-amping with active crossovers doesn't work. You have to be careful about which speakers you bi-amp (and your experience with, and opinion of, bi-amping may be affected by this)...
