It was a toss up. I purchased on the forum here. Company out of new york purchased a bunch of marantz receivers and were selling them on the forum. I knew it wasn't recapped but it was cleaned and tested and brought back to spec so I went for it. Who can resist a face like that? :-)

I could be mistaken on the part he mentioned. He said he found the part on a website out of stock but it was listed at 190. I haven't picked it up yet so this was all over the phone. Anyone have a recommendation for someone in SE MI to get a second opinion? Or is there a better place to ask...
