    Different speakers for different tastes!

I agree with with Dr. Morbius! I have over 30 pairs of speakers just to experiment with different sound, speaker matching, and also implementing room placement. I know I have speaker hoarding problem... at least I admit it! :rflmao:

Anyone ever try a 6x9 car speaker project?

My Favorite 6×9 was the Polk Audio's from the late 1990's, the Infinity Kappa's(The green coned ones), and of coarse the Rockford Fosgate's first punch series.

    Need help with a subwoofer

I would go buy it. Good price and a good decent sub. Has two crossover settings 60hz,125hz. Since your speakers are good down to 60hz, its a perfect match.

    AU-717 vs 9090DB vs Eight

I had the 9090DB and AU-717 rebuilt at the same time 2 years ago and kept the AU-717 and sold the 9090DB. I had a previous AU-717 that had been stolen from my house when it was burglarized back in '98. So I've had my fair share of listening hours with it. I've had many different types of...

For listening I found they sound best 4 feet off the ground and have the tweeter ear level if possible and close to the wall, and about nine feet apart from each other. Cheers!
