I used to own L620s, L880s, L1590s and L1590/2s. But, I already sold L620s, L880s and L1590s. Now, I have only L1590/2s. Still, I miss the sound of L1590s. I'm finding them again. Then, I found L1590s and AR-90s. I asked here for the opinions.

What does “having no personality” mean? Do you mean they play “so-so” to all kinds of music genre? Or do they have the boring sound?

Currently, I use ADS Atelier A1, 65Wpc, with them, the dual woofers floor-standing ADS. But next month, I will have been using an Atelier A2, about 105-180Wpc (according to the brochure), with them instead since I’ve won the bidding at eBay recently.

Hi, Why did you send the midranges and tweeters for rebuilding? I saw that they were in good shape. Their domes have no dents or scratches. The sticky coats still existed.

@nolasally You misunderstand. I mean the 1590 uses dual 10" equals to single 15". And 1290 uses dual 8" equals to single 12".

I currently live in Bangkok, Thailand. And yes, I’ve heard ADS speakers. I own a pair of L620, L880, and L1590. But, frankly, I’ve never listened to Braun speakers before. This will be my first Braun pair if I have the opportunity to own them.

Braun amp is best with Braun speakers, I believe. Actually, my Braun amp currently drives ADS L620 speakers as can be seen on my profile picture.
