I took a chance and bought my JBLs (S4700s) only after a brief audition at the 2012 CES. What struck me is how alive and clear these babies are, plus some of the best bass I've ever heard. I'm pushing 500 Wpc into 4 Ohms, which is what they dip down to. If you want more of a first 3 rows and/or...

Yeah, I think they're catching on...they impressed me, which is why I have a pair. I was gonna get B&W, ATC or Tannoy, but these JBLs compare very favorably and are great for the price.

They do have packages as you saw that are a synthesis of home and home theater stuff. The design staff is different, I know pretty much all of JBL no comes out of their factory down in Mexico. Is the production different? You would think so, but maybe not. Did you see the list of contacts...

For Rotel, Mogami is perfect. No reason really to go to PC-OCC, which is the highest grade copper cable on the market as far as I know.
