Very similar to one I went to about a year ago, 30 minutes and it was the 2nd or 3rd weekend but they posted day 1 pics and made it look like it was day 1. Cheesy crud. I was on holidays so not a company I will run across again.

15/16 cents on the dollar from the original new price sounds about right for the liquidation of used equipment. And if it was not audio it would be a lot less.

Surprised to have a find at the local VV. Just about perfect Technics P24 cartridge for $8.50 after coupon, that also has a SL-BD25 turntable attached :) No lid or hinges but it does not look like the table was used at all and it works perfectly. Not a big find but this store is scorched...

Try plugging it in at the least to check if there is any power, the amps are prone to going. Nice sub if it still works.

What is the plan? If this is going to be for personal use for several/many years and it irritates and bugs you take it off carefully. If looking to flip in a year or so, consider leaving it on. If taken off cleanly, I don't see the sticker removal really detracting from value.

This! It is very common for good vintage tube gear to be sold on the bay untested or unserviced. I think there are a good number of tube fans that prefer to get iron that is untouched than mucked about with.

Nice condition, grills with tags on them to boot. Hope the drivers are all good. The paint drips on the top edge are a real custom touch :-)

Do post up how the acquisition goes. The white paint is likely why they are even still around.
